That Keep Your Move Under Control

Moving home involves things none of us can control. Completion dates can shift, keys may be delayed and packing often takes longer than expected. We can’t control the property chain – but we can control how carefully your move is assessed, planned and communicated.

For most local completion-day moves, Christian or Joe will visit your home before we prepare your quotation. We look at what needs moving, what needs dismantling and reassembling, access at the properties, the packing required and the timings involved. Your written quote is then sent the same day, so you can see the work included and any recommended help clearly.

If packing is the part placing you under the most pressure, we can arrange help with selected priorities such as kitchen or fragile belongings or a full professional pack. Lauren, your customer coordinator, will stay in touch while your date develops. If something changes, simply tell us as soon as you can. We will review the plan, explain the available options while making any changes in timing or price clear before you decide so we can get the move back on track.

If your moving dates no longer line up or the new property is not ready, one option may be for us to move your belongings into our own secure storage facility in Lower Darwen. We can collect them, store them and redeliver them on an agreed date when you are ready, so you have one local team and one clear point of contact throughout. We will explain the storage costs, likely timescale and redelivery arrangements before you decide. When we collect your belongings into storage and later redeliver them, your first four weeks of storage are free!
