Book Your Preston Move Before 2026 Starts

Our January diary is getting absolutely stuffed and we’re only halfway through December. If you’re planning on moving house or office in the new year, you need to ring us now, not after Christmas.

Every year it’s the same. Everyone puts off thinking about moving because they’re too busy with Christmas. Then January hits and suddenly half of Preston decides they want to move in the same week. Last year we had to turn people away because we were fully booked. Don’t let that be you.

Why January Gets Crazy

Preston’s property market goes mad in January. New builds completing across Fulwood, rentals near UCLan changing hands, families moving out to Longridge, people snapping up city centre flats near the Guild Hall, work relocations kicking off… it all happens at once.

House sales agreed before Christmas complete in the new year. Tenancy agreements end. People who’ve been putting it off finally commit. Everyone in Lancashire seems to move at the exact same time.

We cover Preston city centre, Bamber Bridge, Fulwood, Broughton, Longridge, Kirkham, the lot. We’ve done hundreds of moves across PR1, PR2, PR3, PR4. We know every street, every awkward corner and every nightmare parking spot in Preston.

But that doesn’t help you if we’re already booked when you call.

What Happens If You Leave It

You ring us mid January saying you’re moving next week, but we’re fully booked. You start ringing round. Everyone else is booked too. Now you’re panicking because you’ve got to be out and you’ve got nobody to shift your stuff.

You end up hiring a van yourself and roping in mates who don’t really fancy spending their Saturday hauling sofas. Something gets damaged, your back’s killing you and your new place looks like a bomb site because nothing’s been packed right.

Or you book some dodgy outfit you’ve never heard of because they’re the only ones available. They turn up late, handle your stuff like rubble, and that table your gran left you has a massive scratch across it.

We hear these stories all the time from people who wished they’d booked earlier.

Why Estate Agents Keep Recommending Us

More and more estate agents across Preston are using us as their number one removal partner and there’s a reason for that. They need moves to go smoothly because if your removal goes wrong, you’re not happy, the sale gets messy and they end up dealing with complaints.

They recommend us because we turn up on time, we handle people’s stuff carefully and we don’t mess about. When an estate agent puts us forward to their clients, they know we’re not going to let them down.

We’ve become the go to removal company for several Preston estate agents because we make their job easier. Happy clients, smooth completions, no dramas. That’s why they keep sending people our way.

Who We Are

We’re a family run removals company based in Leyland. Not some massive corporate juggernaut. Just us, our team, and our vans going round Lancashire making sure people’s moves go well.

We handle house moves, from one bed flats to five bedroom houses. We do office moves for businesses. We’ll dismantle your furniture and rebuild it at the other end, disconnect your washing machine and reconnect it in the new place. We’ll pack everything up if you want or just move it if you’ve already sorted the packing.

We’ve got storage if you need somewhere to keep stuff between moves. We know Preston inside out. We’re the highest rated removals company in Preston on Google, have a look at the reviews if you don’t believe us.

Preston Locals

We’ve been all over Preston… Guild Hall area, Harris Museum, round the Business Centre, Avenham Park, up to Longridge near Beacon Fell, over to Kirkham, through Fulwood, past the hospital then down to Bamber Bridge and round Worden Park.

You’ve probably seen our vans about. We’re the ones who know that some Preston streets are a nightmare to park on. We know which new build estates have terrible access. We know the shortcuts and routes that avoid Preston city centre traffic when it’s rammed.

That local knowledge makes a massive difference on moving day. We’re not sat there with a sat nav trying to work out where we’re going, we just know.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone, we hope you have a brilliant time. Eat too much, have a few drinks, watch some rubbish telly, enjoy it!

But while you’re sat there on Boxing Day in a food coma, maybe have a quick think about whether you’re moving in the new year. Because once Christmas is done, January comes round fast and our diary fills up even faster.
