Every year it’s the same. Everyone puts off thinking about moving because they’re too busy with Christmas. Then January hits and suddenly half of Preston decides they want to move in the same week. Last year we had to turn people away because we were fully booked. Don’t let that be you.
Why January Gets Crazy
Preston’s property market goes mad in January. New builds completing across Fulwood, rentals near UCLan changing hands, families moving out to Longridge, people snapping up city centre flats near the Guild Hall, work relocations kicking off… it all happens at once.
House sales agreed before Christmas complete in the new year. Tenancy agreements end. People who’ve been putting it off finally commit. Everyone in Lancashire seems to move at the exact same time.
